WEEK 9 (30TH OCTOBER 2023 - 3RD NOVEMBER 2023)

 

HELLO! HELLO!

Due to the Fun Run event, we got an occasional holiday on Monday (30th October 2023).

On 31st October 2023, we had a morning assembly. We also had a Solidarity Palestine program. All the pupils were very energetic. They were praying with all of their heart for our beloved brothers and sisters who were suffering and killed there in Palestine. They brought with them Palestine flags.

Next, on 1st November 2023, we had English Club meeting at 5 Alfa class. There were a few activities that were held. First, pupils need to read a poem that was written on the board. Secondly, they need to create a poem by themselves in groups. Then, they need to present their poems to the class.

On 2nd November 2023, the teachers’ room was renovated. So, I need to sit in “Bilik Gerakan” instead. On this day, I helped my friend to do a practice with 2Beta for Children Day. They are going to be dancing to “Malam Pesta Muda Mudi” song. It was fun watching them practice. They were all cute! Some of them can dance very well. But, most of the boys were very stiff and shy. Well, they are only 8.

On 3rd November 2023, PPKI (Program Pendidikan Khas Integrasi) pupils had a Children's day rehearsal. They came to school all dressed up as their theme for this year’s Children's Day is retro. Girls wore polka-dot skirts and dresses. While for the boys, they wore a plaid shirt with an afro hair! Trust me, they were the cutest! They danced on the stage and took pictures with their teachers. I can’t stop laughing because some of them looked very tired after dancing with their friends. Some sat on the stage with sad face because the weather was hot.

 

 

Week 9 was done, there are another 5 weeks to go!

  HELLO! HELLO! Welcome to my week 13! Which means I still have another week to survive from practicum! I am so excited to finish practicum but also sad at the same time because I need to leave these precious kids. WEEK 1 (4TH SEPTEMBER - 9TH SEPTEMBER)

 HELLO! HELLO! Assalamualaikum and hi everyone! My name is Balqis binti Zaiedi and this is my first entry of my practicum experience. After waiting so long for this day, the wait is finally has come to an end. I am supposed to start my practicum in August but due to some circumstances, my practicum has been delayed to 4 th September 2023. The first step is always the hardest. I was very nervous on the first day since I was not going to do my practicum with any of my friends or classmates. I walked into the office alone that morning feeling nervous and anxious. Since this is my first time going to a real school and teaching real kids, I have a lot of things going on in my mind. WEEK 3 (18TH SEPTEMBER - 23RD SEPTEMBER)

  HELLO! HELLO! Welcome to my third week of practicum! Huh, almost a month just in the blink of an eye. Many things happened in week 3. Very hectic and busy week for teachers and pupils. Let’s start with 18 th September. On this day, we had a closing ceremony for Independence Month. All of us teachers and pupils need to wear traditional clothes that weren’t our culture. As for me, I wore Kurti, an Indian traditional clothing. It was my first time wearing it and I think that I would wear Kurti again on any other day. Mine was so pretty at an affordable price. I bought it online since the physical store seems to be a lot more expensive and pricey. On that day, I saw a lot of kids wearing many types of traditional clothes. When I was a kid, I never had a chance to wear like this, so it was exciting to see those cute faces wearing various types of traditional clothes.
